Tribhuvan University, Biratnagar Nursing Campus is one of the historical constituent campus in koshi province. His Majesty’s Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health established ANM training school in the year 2023 BS at Biratnagar. Later in 2029 BS, this program was handed over to Tribhuvan University, the institute of Medicine. From 2037BS, Proficiency Certificate Level Nursing program was started. In 2068/69, this campus began the Bachelor in Nursing Program, now upgraded into 3 years Bachelor in nursing science (BNS) Program. Biratnagar Nursing Campus has an outstanding history of being ranked as the number of college of Nepal. It has record of cent percent pass result in PCL, BNS and BSc.Nursing program. Both program are lunched in annual system.Now it is established as a well-known Campus in Koshi Province in terms of quality production. Hundred percent theoretical classes are held according to Master Calendar of Operation. Clinical practice site is mainly Koshi Zonal Hospital, quality practices are carried out in different department of KZH.Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been done between Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and the Institute of Medicine (IOM). Biratnagar Nursing Campus has separate buildings for administration, academic purpose and hostel for students. There are three separate buildings for residential purpose. There are seven separate laboratories for student skill development namely fundamental lab,community lab, midwifery skill lab, biochemistry lab, community lab,anatomy and physiology lab and biochemistry lab. Biratnagar Nursing Campus has become one of the pioneer educational institutes in Nepal since its establishment. Nursing profession is mainly centralized in female gender. So it has also key role in women empowerment and self-reliance. The products are engaged in renounced institute/hospital /NGO/INGO inside the country and abroad with attractive payment. In addition to educational activities, nursing students take part actively in extracurricular activities in indoor and outdoor competitive games. Different health related days are celebrated in campus. Nursing is a profession and it is the combination of art and science so there is more chances of getting job immediately. This profession has high social recognition and practical implication. So there is great scope in hospital, campus, community, industries and schools. Nursing profession has significant role in achieving Millennium Development goals (MDGs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). TU,IOM Biratnagar Nursing Campus intends to be an Academic Centre of excellence through the Foundation of nursing, nursing research, Educational Science and Management.

कोशी प्रदेश मा अवस्थित मोरङ्ग विराटनगरको मुटुमा रहेको त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय चि.शा.अ.सं.को एकमात्र नर्सिङ्ग क्याम्पस हो , विराटनगर नर्सिङ्ग क्याम्पस । यसको स्थापना वि.सं. २०२३ सालमा अ.न.मी.तालिम केन्द्रको रुपमा भएको हो । विभिन्न समय , कालखण्ड पार गर्दै आफ्नो ५४ वर्ष पार गरी सकेको छ । हाल यसमा प्रमाण पत्र तह नर्सिङ्ग र स्नातक तह नर्सिङ्ग तथा विज्ञान नर्सिङग सञ्चालित छन् । राजनैतिक, आर्थिक सामाजिक, पर्यावरणीय र कानुनी दृष्टिकोणबाट यस क्याम्पसका सबल पक्षहरु रहेका छन् । सातै प्रदेश मध्येको एक उत्कृष्ट नेतृत्वदायी नमुना क्याम्पसको रुपमा यसको सर्वाङ्गीण विकास गर्नका लागि शैक्षिक, भौतिक निर्माण तथा सुधार, अनुसन्धान, सुशासन र पारदर्शिता, लैंगिक समानता, दिगो आर्थिक विकास, कार्यक्रमहरु थप गर्दै लैजाने निति, जोखिम न्युनिकरणमा ध्यान दिने तथा अनुगमन र मुल्यांकन प्रभावकारी बनाउने कार्यहरु भइरहेका छन् । उक्त कार्यहरू विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग, संघिय सरकार, प्रदेश सरकार, स्थानीय सरकार साथै विभिन्न सरोकारवालाहरु संग सहकार्य गर्दै पाँच वर्षमा उत्कृष्ट क्याम्पस बनाउने उद्देश्यका साथै रणनीतिक योजना सामूहिक प्रक्रियाबाट निर्माण गरिएको छ । शैक्षिक संस्थाहरु निश्चित मापदण्डमा गुणस्तरयुक्त शिक्षा प्रदानगर्ने उत्कृष्ठ प्राज्ञिक थलो हुने स्थापित मान्यता स्वरुप गुणस्तर सुनिश्चितता एवं प्रत्यायन (QAA) प्रणालीको थालनी भएको छ । उच्च शिक्षालाई गुणस्तरीय बनाई समता मुलक पहुच सुनिश्चित गर्न र आधुनिक ज्ञान, शिप, विज्ञान, प्रविधिमा दक्ष र प्रतिश्पर्धि जनशक्ति तयार गर्न यस तहको शिक्षा समय सापेक्ष रुपमा विकाश र विश्तार गर्नु आवश्यक छ । कोशी प्रदेश को एक मात्र त्रि.वि.को आंगिक क्याम्पस त्रि.वि.चि.शा.अ.सं.विराटनगर नर्सिङ्ग क्याम्पसलाई एक नमुना दक्ष जनशक्ति तयार गर्ने अभिप्रायले स्वस्थ्य र स्वच्छ सम्मुन्नत समाजको विकाशका लागी समयानुकुल प्राविधिक जनशक्ति तयार गर्न गुणस्तरीय व्यवहारीक शिक्षा प्रदान गर्ने नर्सिङ्ग क्याम्पसको रुपमा स्थापना हुनेछ भन्ने दुरदृष्टि राखि पाँच वर्षे रणनीतिक योजनाको निर्माण गरिएको छ ।
